This DuraCord Furniture Double Rocker is part of the cumaru wood W.R. Perkins Signature Collection. Made of 100% weather resistant 8mm DuraCord rope, it features an intricately woven seat and back. The wood is Cumaru wood, which is a South American (Brazilian) hardwood that is very durable because of its density. It is not porous so it does not let water and moisture penetrate the wood. The rope is DuraCord®, which is specially constructed to be just as soft as cotton and as durable as polyester. It is made of synthetic fibers that are designed to be soft to the touch while colorfast and durable in the outdoors. This rope resists the degrading effects of the sun and rain and is very easy to clean. DuraCord® rope also dries faster than standard cotton or polyester.
